About Me

The namesake and identity of this website has been created and implemented solely by myself, Jaclyn Rothe.
Born on February 16th, 1981, I always had an interest in Art, and music. During my high school years I was involved in a volunteer music group based out of Governor Simcoe Secondary School in St. Catharines. We were presented many opportunities for live performance and evaluation in Ontario including Ottawa as well as the Banff Rocky Mountain Festival, Halifax, and various locations in the USA.
With a keen interest in graphic arts and design, I completed a course on Adobe Photoshop, and have been able to implement these skills over the last decade. This has proved to be an incredible asset for creating custom graphics, design sets and aiding web site development. There isn't a day that goes by where I do not use Photoshop.
I share an interest and talent for photography which allows me to create the unique photos I want without replication or infringement. In recent years I have been able to hone my skills for taking great pictures. I attempt to use interesting angles combined with different lighting opportunities to create interest in the subject.
In the past, I have enjoyed training horses as well as equestrian events and shows, and was even fortunate to take a 7 year old retired Thoroughbred from the race track and retrain him in basic dressage and hunter disciplines.
In the last 5 years I have been able to travel to Scotland and start a family. Scotland presented many photo opportunities where I am very proud of the material produced.
More recently, I have been able to learn HTML, PHP and scripting in my own time. I maintain both personal and professional websites to continue learning elements of coding and keeping the language fresh in my mind.
Additionally I have been able to design and produce promotional material for various needs. Including promotional posters, full colour flyers, custom stationary, and business cards, some of which were produced by a printing firm on a large production scale.
